Please read them carefully before proceeding. These terms are designed to ensure a professional, enjoyable, and safe learning environment for everyone.
1. General Information
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all students enrolling for piano lessons, whether in-person or online, and to users of this website.
1.2 Anna Robinson’s Piano Lessons is operated from Bangalore, India, but students worldwide are welcome to join the lessons, provided they agree to the outlined terms.
1.3 These terms are subject to change without prior notice, and it is the student’s responsibility to review them regularly.
2. Enrollment and Payments
2.1 Enrollment is confirmed only upon the submission of a completed registration form and receipt of the first lesson fee.
2.2 Lesson fees must be paid in advance on a monthly or per-term basis, as agreed during enrollment.
2.3 Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or any other approved digital payment methods. International students may use PayPal or other global payment options.
2.4 Missed lessons without prior notice will not be refunded or rescheduled unless due to exceptional circumstances.
2.5 ABRSM exam registration fees are separate from lesson fees and are payable directly to the ABRSM or the designated exam center.
3. Lessons
3.1 Lessons will be conducted either in-person or online, depending on the student’s preference and availability.
3.2 Students are expected to be punctual for their lessons. Late arrivals will not extend lesson time.
3.3 For online lessons, students must ensure they have a stable internet connection, a working camera, and a quiet, distraction-free environment.
3.4 The lesson schedule will be mutually agreed upon at the start of the term and is subject to change with prior discussion.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
4.1 Lessons canceled by the student must be notified at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in the lesson being forfeited without refund.
4.2 If Anna Robinson cancels a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances, the lesson will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.
4.3 No-shows or last-minute cancellations by students will not be refunded or rescheduled, except in the case of emergencies.
5. ABRSM Exam Preparation
5.1 Anna Robinson offers structured preparation for ABRSM exams from Grade 1 to Grade 8.
5.2 Students enrolling for ABRSM preparation must commit to consistent practice and adhere to the exam syllabus requirements.
5.3 It is the student’s responsibility to register for the ABRSM exam with the appropriate exam center, although guidance will be provided during the registration process.
5.4 Exam success depends on the student’s dedication and effort. While every effort will be made to prepare students, success cannot be guaranteed.
6. Code of Conduct
6.1 Students are expected to maintain a respectful and positive attitude during lessons. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in dismissal from lessons without a refund.
6.2 Parents or guardians of younger students are welcome to observe lessons, provided their presence does not disrupt the learning process.
6.3 Recording of lessons is not permitted unless explicitly authorized by Anna Robinson.
7. Copyright and Intellectual Property
7.1 All lesson materials, including sheet music, exercises, and teaching aids, are copyrighted and for personal use only.
7.2 Students are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, or share lesson materials without prior permission.
8. Liability
8.1 Anna Robinson is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that occur during in-person lessons, including at-home lessons.
8.2 For online lessons, Anna Robinson is not responsible for technical issues, connectivity problems, or any disruptions caused by the student’s setup.
8.3 Students and/or parents/guardians assume full responsibility for the safety of the student during lessons.
9. Privacy Policy
9.1 Personal information collected during the enrollment process will be used solely for administrative purposes and lesson planning.
9.2 Information will not be shared with third parties without prior consent, except where required by law.

10. Termination of Lessons
10.1 Students may choose to discontinue lessons by providing at least two weeks’ notice.
10.2 Anna Robinson reserves the right to terminate lessons in cases of non-payment, consistent absences, or inappropriate conduct.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of a court in Bangalore Urban.
